It’s hard finding the right project, not that it’s hard to find something cool to restore and do up but it’s hard finding the right piece in the right condition and at the right price! right? I had been searching for an IronHead for about a year but finally got a text from Sid one day about a guy he knew that had one, the story was it’s a 73, kick start only, and a basket case! after selling off some other toys and with cash in hand we were off to pick it up.

We finally got some good weather over here so I have blown the dust off the track bike

NOS 3ttt ergo bars from fitzrovia cycles and some pin head nuts on the front for single dlock locking up.

Now stash the KEY somewhere so you dont leave it at home. Rubber band under the seat for now. bearings in all the allen bolts.

So I’m jumping on this stuff for sale bandwagon with my O’Brien track frame. This is an old pic, but it’s still in amazing nick (will chuck a fresh one up this weekend).
This frame’s a one-off by frame builder Liam O’Brien. It’s made out of Reynolds 753, it’s got super tight clearances and a sloping top tube. The seat tube and top tube are 56cm.
It comes with a Phil Wood bottom bracket and Dura Ace headset.
