Way too steep to ride with my puny street gear!

Not bike related (unless you count how I’m getting there), but I’ll be racing in the 89th Lipton Cup regatta this weekend. The pic is of a 26ft Mullet boat, and we’ll be racing 22ft L-class ones, but you get the idea.

Ma neu prodjekt. too many hours of paint stripper and sandpaper to remove a perfectly good hard glossy coat of paint (it was godawful ugly). roughly polished up, this aluminium should develop a nice patina. bars are for pit bike new on trademe 20 bucks

lately i’ve been pretty slow with everything, mainly because travelling all over the world sponsoring people doing what they love takes up a lot of your spare time. ever wondered how did i become such an articulate, calculated, sophisticated, professional, reliable, wealthy, superpowered, human being it’s all thanks to something called cross-training…not.

it’s my day off i do whatever i want.
so first of all, i was hanging out with pseudo-mentor-drunken-master-matey mark boswell and we were talking about london and bike thiefs. not giving it much thought i started looking at videos of bike thiefs and ended up looking at some art and another thing ensued towards not only a bike thief video made by a pretty good conceptual artist. ha!
talk about destiny.

Gosh i love those french and their small artisans working in some garage down in the middle of france surrounded by hazelnut trees that don’t produce any hazelnuts because the surroundings farms utilise all the minerals from the soil in order to grow sweet sweet corn that you can buy at nando’s.
