Berlin beer review drei

Getting serious now, Berlin is rad and the beer selection at the corner shop is amazing. Tonight I started with a mild 5.6% dunkel which went down easy and had just a hint of malt.

Next up was this satanic lookin dopelbock. Pritty good and clocked in at a beefy 7.4%

Well next up is black boss. Uh yea feeling it now. 8.5% and tasty as.

like a kid in a candy store

SBC goes bowling in berlin. (well some of them)

So Mark has come over from london for a few days and we caught up yesterday afternoon and went for a bit of a ride around the west. its like in nz when they say west is best. Well its not as i think west and east are both good in the case of berlin. but i live in the west which in turn makes it the best by default. Anyway so we went to the kerin berlin shop first. cool little shop. and the dude invited mark along for the halloween race this eve. but then gave no more details. so maybee not? then off to a place called vux, its a little vegan place in neukolln round where i live so we hooked up some fake meats in breads there. from there on to record shops where mark continued to spend all his money on round sheets. then where else but where the park to drink bear and be in a park. after a few of these as e posted bellow it was back to my house then off for some bowling. now the wait before this lane being a few hours we drank more. some would say to much more. but thats up to the owner. i believe i did.

*note. the last score card. was super close.

*note. shane was shanelle. hah.

*note. bowling is rad.

*note. end

Berlin beer review

RUBBISH!

Don’t buy a beer just cause it has a bike on it! Even with the word RAD in it. Always check alcahol % on the back. This stuff is 1.3% and tastes like lemonade. Thank god I only bought two.
More updates from Berlin soon, going to see rowan tommorrow I’m sure he knows the right beers to buy.

random pics on my camera

alex from cavendish cycles has got some sweet bikes. Campy pista cranks, mack hubs, check out the gear ratio on his ron cooper. 59 – 24! sweet!

took this pic in summer on the way to drink in london fields with my singlespeed rat bike. Im upgrading my MAME at the moment so thought of this pic.

Super Ted on a Sunday

Ive really been getting stoked on workshops lately, fantasizing about moving back to NZ and getting a skyline garage. Ive even been watching american chopper alot just to see what sweet tools they have for fabrication. So today when I went to see ted from about a customers bent fork I thought Id take a few pics of his setup.

Teds the raddest dude, so friendly and humble and always happy to chat about bike and tools. (anyone who doesnt know ted helped test and design the charge sissor, designed shop 14′s ESB’s, and is a ripper.

Today he was showing me his latest scores at the second hand tool markets and telling me about being boris johnsons  stunt double and doing table tops on the boris bikes. he also lost his bike again last night so if anyone sees a brown thrashed esb in london let me know.

Tour de Loire

Hey dudes.
Heres some pics of my cycling trip of the Loire Valley in France. It was super sunny and nice for the whole week. Only rained for 20min when we were dropping the bikes off on the last day. It was really relaxed only riding 4-5 hours a day mostly flat along great paths and trails that follow the Loire river. You could buy bangers and sky rockets and beer at the corner shop! We went to some vineyards and castles and a massive mine thats now a mushroom farm in the side of a cliff.

I wanna do it again next year with some dude, maybe on fixed bikes and just camp up alone the river. Would be rad as.
