Whats going on Skull Bike Clubers!
The photo above is of myself blasting my Thrash Bike at Ngaruawahia Skate Park, shot by long time SBC friend Justin Sweeney and was published in a recent issue of Spoke Magazine.
Going to San Francisco tomorrow! so expect some updates from my trip in the next few weeks.
New bike check to be posted soon of my Vancouver winter ride.
Hay all so im back now have been up to the shop. bumped into a few at doc and teva the other day so im not doing to bad for a few days. still sorting my life and living up the beach. which is pretty radical.
I did come home sans bike though which is a bummer. i kept my 2 4 tho and now have it ready to go. and the lady still has her GT. but i am looking to build one up so any one here with bits and pieces or anything for that matter im keen as i want to build up another 10 asap. but i need to get me a bit of income. any way boring rant.
here is Shanelles GT and my fit 2 4 .

THANKS MARK FOR THE BARS AND THE GOOD TIMES IN LONDON

AND THATS THE FIT 2 4 THANKS TIM FOR KEEPING IT SAFE.
RAD
Yesterday I went out and picked up some frames for Myself and the CGK boys. Here are some of the photos that I snapped up with the fleet lined up. If you have a frame you want painted, Tim at ProCoat will do the best job and detail it out with all the masking required on the threads and press fits. This guy is the king of paint and on my latest bike I have a smoked chrome paint that I will put up in the next few days.
AAAAAAAhhhhh cavendish… what is this a spanish dish?
now that i have your attention. in january i took a little trip back to tahiti.
i tried to make a bike shop check but trying is not enough when in between mojitos and hinano beers and just sweating away.
but here we go with two of the establishments that pushes bike culture in little papeete.
first thing first pacicfic cycles is straight placed in the center of the city.
those guys have been there for as long as i can remember, they are a family shop.
really similar to twhites without the fixie trend.
but loads more beach cruisers and mtbs and bmx parts.
this is the man in charge. can’t remember his name but he cool like everyone else. just say hi and tell him you know teva from auckland. he might know who i am….
s&m , profile, primo, wethepeopl and also loads of other great brands
more parts
complete bmx, they had the whole WTP range but sold most of them even the envys!
for all you MTB guys out there don’t worry they have tons of parts for you too
after visiting those guys i had to quickly drop by and say hi to one of the stongest member of the MTB scene over there.
this is Tamatea, he has been the manager of another bike shop for a good ten years now.
he was one of the one pushing the downhill racing and just riding in general.
super cool guy. always keen to do stuff.
the funny part about tamatea’s shop is that it’s currently sharing space with a car parts shop.
imagine a repco sharing space with a bike shop
workshop shot
hardcore old dude. i like him, scootering his bmx around like ain’t no thing.
looks like elliott and e.t. had a kid and pass the bike onto their son.
baxter said to blog supreme
the official SBC ride in moorea. true style. no handbrake. steering is totally off and i’m not sure if the chassis was still straight.
there were a few more shops but these two places are key to some great riding start.
contact me if you need more info about riding in the islands. i’ll ‘try’ to help.
i made a pun. cool
Me and mitch got drunk last night and started my new project, blurple retro nightmare tourer.
This thing might even top the softride.

I just started putting together a basket with my Mig Welder. I have a few baskets I liked and decided to try my hand at a custom one. It seems a little overkill welding a basket up, but its hard to find any thing like this in NZ, and I wanted the Challenge with the finer work required. Still have some work left but should have it done soon.
This was the wald basket i liked and copped the general size.
And also remember Mark Skulls version
Right E Ho, Check out this ghetto as hell frame repair I pulled off at the shop today. The guy came in and had his frame completely dismembered, So I some how convinced him to let me weld it up! It’s not pretty but I don’t care.
