There’s been the usual irrational shuffling of parts amongst my bikes and boxs of bits.
The Dean has been single-speeded with a paul rear hub and white industries awesome sounding freewheel.
Its got a son schmidt edelux dynamo hub on the front running some shit ass lights that will get upgraded to LED at some point.
A 140mm boner stem from profile racing gives me some varied hand postions with the humpert town bar and the magura hydraulic rim brakes stop me in any weather.
New favourites like shimano NX10 bean chain and Skulls steering spring mod join old favs like the velo orange porteur rack and make this ride one that should stick around for a while. ……… maybe.

How does the steering mod work at stabilising the rack when you’ve got heavy shit on there? Might give it a try when I get my rack.
Nearly finished my town bike (finally).
Its almost compulsory with a a front rack I think. Just do it you’ll feel the difference.
